Society: You have to work 2000 hours / year until you’re 70

Me: 32 + planning my retirement

It’s taken me 32 years to realise this ⬇️

The ‘normal’ path is a one track road to struggle.

Working til I’m 70, struggling to get by is not the way I want to live.

I always knew I wanted more, but honestly I didn’t really know what that looked like for me. Plus, I was never really brave enough to make a change or go against the norm.

I still worried about what others would think and I simply didn’t have the knowledge or skillset to do something else.

And even when I started – I still struggled with those things. I had to work on reframing my mindset and learning something new every single day

I still work on myself daily.

I used to simply go through the motions of life.

Now, if I get just 1% better and closer to my goals each day, at the end of the year- I’m 365% better off!!

The time’s going to pass anyway.
